As a member of STREETROX, you help actively spread the word of Beatrox events through some of the different materials and tools that we provide for you. It’s on an opt in basis, so you decide whether or not you want to participate in one of our “campaigns”. If one doesn’t look fun for you, you can always wait for the next one to be announced.
Here are some examples of the work you may be required to do (if you sign up for a campaign)
• Hanging up about 10 posters
• Passing out some fliers or other promo at like-minded shows, head shops, skate shops, (anywhere a potential fan would normally hang out).
• Hosting banners on your social networking pages
• Using digital tools to help promote across the internet
Rules and guidelines:
The only things we ask of you is to represent Beatrox and STREETROX in a professional manner and have FUN!
How to get started:
First thing to do is sign-up for STREETROX and you will receive an email confirmation. Once your email is confirmed, you will have access to the STREETROX page where you will have all of the promo tools you need in order to start promoting and submitting your work. If you are interested in obtaining physical promo materials such as posters and flyers, you can request these by emailing promo@beatrox.com. Upon your request, include your full name, home address and phone number. You must have a secure and stable address where we can deliver these materials. Couch surfers need not apply.
How to submit proof of work:
PHYSICAL PROMOTION
For our street teams who have physical materials, we would like 5-10 pictures of your work, a detailed report, and emailed to promo@beatrox.com. We would like to know what you did, where you hung your posters, what shows you passed out fliers, etc….
Your reports are due the day before your show at 5 PM PST, unless your show is on a weekend. If your show is on a weekend, they are due the FRIDAY BEFORE AT 3 PM PST. This is to insure that we can get your name on a guest list on time.
DIGITAL PROMOTION
For our digital street teams, we would like you to take screenshots of your work, as well as provide us links where we can see your work. Send this information to promo@beatrox.com. Please get us your report before the designated due date. This is to insure that we can fully reward you!
Why we use a point system:
The points system is set up mainly to try and instill a “friendly competition” amongst STREETROX. Also, we have a points system to give you perks time to time, and they can but not always decide in tiebreakers in the following categories:
• Additional Rewards (Tickets, Merch, etc.)
• Team Leaders for specific events
• STREETROX teamer of the Month Awards
A good way to help gather points if you are new is to do some of our Digital Street Team work. Host banners and widgets on your social networking pages, create discussion in online communities and report it back to us. This will get you a leg up on your fellow street teamers. The important thing is to have fun with it and make it enjoyable for yourself!
How the point system works:
You receive points by reporting your work to us. To do this, follow the directions above. Points and Rewards will sometimes vary depending on campaign. Rewards are below:
75 Points = 1 Free Ticket
100 Points = 2 Free Tickets and your first BEATROX STREETROX t-shirt
150 + Points = 2 Free Tickets + other rewards (merch, etc.)
250 + Points = 2 Free Tickets + VIP
Website Posting: 5 points per link, 5 links max. Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Forum Posting: 5 points per link, 5 links max.
Photo or screenshot upload: 10 points per photo, 10 photos max. Upload up to 10 total pictures or screenshots of your work. We look at every report and picture so any repeats or signs of cheating will make your report not count.
The main rule is the more work you can show us, the more rewards and points we can give you! Also, rewards depend on the type of event.
Our other rewards include: free merchandise, meet & greets, signed memorabilia.
What is STREETROX mobbing?
STREETROX mobbing is when a crew of 10+ members attend an event that is similar to a Beatrox event (EDM). All members wear their BEATROX STREETROX t-shirt you will earn after your first 100 points are received. The best part about mobbing is that when you report your pictures of your crew at the event, every member at the event will receive double reward points! Not to mention you hit an event in style & will have made a huge impact. If you’re interested in mobbing, you will need to get in touch with other STREETROX members to coordinate which events you will mob. You can do this by befriending STREETROX at www.facebook.com/streetrox. We strongly encourage team members to work together when promoting. Not only is it more fun, but it helps build a better Beatrox community! If you are interested in being a STREETROX team leader, please inquire by emailing promo@beatrox.com.
Where do I get my tickets and what happens if they’re not there?
After you send in a report, we will contact you explaining what you have been rewarded.
• Tickets are available at WILL CALL (unless we note otherwise) Please arrive early at the venue, strange things happen when it gets close to showtime.
• You must have some form of I.D. to pick up your ticket(s) as well, so if you gave us a fake name, email us before you report.
• If your ticket is not at will call, and you have been promised one, one of the following things might have occurred.
1) You are a little early, and the guest list has not made its way down to the booth yet. Ask if the band’s guest list is there.
2) Sometimes there is a lost of communication, in that case, please give Lara a call at 615-971-7287, and we will try and straighten out the issue and will get you into the show.
